ABSTRACT
The management of rheumatoid arthritis has changed dramatically during the last thirty years. At the present time, in addition to conventional synthetic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), biological and targeted synthetic DMARDs are also used with success. The aim of RA treatment is remission or low disease activity. There is no guide concerning choice of agent, dosage and drug switch. Therefore it was intended to develop a national guide for RA treatment by Turkish Society for Rheumatology. Ten experts met in April 2017. Recommendations were established and voted (0-10). There commendations were presented to members in March 2018.
